Post San Antonio

The trip went well with my mom. One day it was 114 degrees and humid - needless to say we stayed inside. There were about 300 people that attended our breakout session so that was cool. There were thousands of people there. However, there were many breakout sessions going on at the same time so we didn't know if there would be 10 people or 700!  I was very happy that it was about 300. On the Sunday that we were there; my friend Pam and her family came and picked up my mom and me and we went to their favorite Mexican restaurant. Then we stopped by the Alamo.

Mom and I had taken a taxi to a mall where there was a Dillard's store and the original plan was to have Pam and her family meet us there - but by the time Pam was able to make it to San Antonio - the place was crawling with people.

So instead we went to a Japanese Garden that was very cool - then the restaurant then the Alamo.

I slept really good. Sleep is always a struggle. I either can sleep sleep sleep or I can hardly sleep.

This week is a week that I can hardly sleep. It also doesn't help that I have commitments during the day so I have to wiggle around that. And then also have meetings for work.  I am not complaining though. I love my new job and my managers.

My dad and Ellie were in town. It was good to see them. I haven't seen them in awhile.

My friend Chanda is in town this week. I am spending time with her also. Which is why this week my sleep has been all twisted. I have the weekend to catch up. And on my Friday - I am going to come in late - like 3 or 4 am so I can stay later for some work meetings. That will help; especially since I have group sessions at Guild on Thursdays during the day.

Anyway - that is all I have for now.
